The most innovative thing is its mechanics that incorporates H2-Tech technology: a hybrid vehicle, both electric and hydrogen, equipped with a 16 kW fuel cell. The H2-Tech system is based on range extension technology, which allows a battery to be twice as light as before for the same range, thus contributing to decarbonisation beyond vehicle electrification. This solution is intended for a passenger car, and Renault claims that it can travel 800 km without recharging batteries. It also reduces the carbon footprint by up to 75% compared to a conventional vehicle. The brand also highlighted that “the ecological design of Renault Scénic Vision and its innovations in the field of circular economy, including more than 70% recycled materials (several closed circuits) and with 95% recyclable materials, contribute directly to preserving the resources”.
Regarding safety, the French brand pointed out that the integrated technologies offer enhanced safety for the driver and passengers, allowing the number of accidents to be reduced by up to 70%.
“The exterior shows the shapes and style of a new family model, which will be marketed in 2024. Its interior design is a prospective study of future Renault cabins,” said the automaker.
