The State Traffic Inspectorate reminded the drivers of the punishment for not passing emergency vehicles.
So, in accordance with the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses, failure to provide the above vehicles with an advantage in traffic entails the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of 3,000 rubles to 5,000 rubles or deprivation of a driver’s license for a period of three to 12 months.
The traffic police noted that when a car approaches with a special color-graphic scheme applied to the outer surfaces, with flashing beacons of blue and red colors and a special sound signal, drivers are required to give way to ensure the unhindered passage of the specified vehicle, as well as the vehicle accompanied by it (accompanied vehicles funds).
On December 8, the traffic police published a New Year’s memo for drivers. It lists the sanctions for various traffic violations.
The memo says that a fine (30 thousand rubles) and deprivation of the right to drive from one and a half to two years await the violator for driving while intoxicated or refusing to undergo a medical examination. For driving in a state of intoxication, without having a driver’s license, an administrative arrest of 10 to 15 days and a fine of 30 thousand rubles are provided. In the case of transferring the right to drive his car to a drunk person, a fine of 30 thousand rubles and deprivation of a driver’s license for a period of one and a half to two years are provided.
