Upon receiving the German mission together with officials from the governments of Río Negro and Tierra del Fuego, Argentine diplomats and directors of Y-TEC, the official maintained that “The integration of Argentina into the global chain of a sustainable and low-carbon economy is a task that we face with a strategic vision, decidedly productive, and with a federal impact.”
The event was attended by the Rio Negro Planning Secretary, Daniel Sanguinetti, and the Tierra del Fuego Hydrocarbons Secretary, Alejandro Aguirre. Also present were the coordinator of the Interministerial Table H2, Fernando Brun; the Coordinator of the Argentina Productiva 2030 Plan, Daniel Schteingart; the Executive Director of the Río Negro Investment Agency; Gonzalo Medina; and the General Manager Y-TEC, Santiago Sacerdote.
During her speech, the head of the Secretariat for Strategic Affairs emphasized that “Argentina has a very robust scientific-technological system made up of national universities and research centers, which dialogues and works together with the private sector.”
In this sense, Marcó del Pont highlighted that “the Argentine scientific-technological system allowed the generation of highly qualified human capacities and resources while promoting a process of innovation in the different production chains.”
