Fixed cost reimbursement for companies: Corona bridging aid extended until the end of the year

Companies and self-employed people who continue to suffer from the restrictions of the pandemic can rely on support from the state until the end of the year. The bridging aid is extended.

Some corona state aid for companies will be extended until the end of this year. The federal finance and economics ministries have agreed on this, as both houses announced on Wednesday in Berlin.

This means that Bridging Aid III Plus will be paid until December 31st, which was previously available for the months July to September. You can apply to companies that have suffered a drop in sales of at least 30 percent due to Corona. You will receive a staggered reimbursement of fixed costs.

According to the two ministries, an equity grant, which is intended to strengthen the substance of companies that are particularly affected over the long term, will also be available from September until December. The “Restart Aid Plus” for self-employed people will also be extended. For the period from October to December, self-employed people whose turnover is further restricted by the pandemic could receive additional support of up to 4500 euros.
