Agricultural emergency declared in several districts of Mendoza

As it has been doing in many other towns in the country, the Ministry of Economy declared this Tuesday the state of emergency and/or agricultural disaster to affected farms by hail in various departments and districts of the Mendoza province for the agricultural period 2022/2023, which will end on March 31, 2024 (date of completion of the production cycle for the affected farms).

Benefits for those affected

The measure is in line with what is recommended by the National Commission for Agricultural Emergencies and Disasters, after analyzing the provincial situation.

For the purposes of being able to take advantage of the benefits agreed Law No. 26,509 (of agricultural emergency) Producers must submit a certificate issued by the competent authority of the province, stating that their properties or farms are affected.

For their part, the national, official or mixed banking institutions and the AFIP will arbitrate the necessary means so that the producers enjoy the benefits provided for in that Law, in accordance with the Resolution.
