The raises take into account as reference the variations in the FAS price of wheat by 40%, that of the wholesale inflation by 30% and that of the wages in the other 30%. The prices are without taxes, at the exit of the mill, without delivery costsand they must include the following logistics costs by region: city ​​and province of Buenos Aires, 3.50%; Center, Cuyo and Litoral, 5.50%; NEA and NOA, 7% and Patagonia, 10.5%.

This increase, the recitals state, is “consistent with the evolution of the rest of the components of the cost of products derived from wheat flour” and it is located in line with the monthly updates provided by the Fair Prices program. The FETA was provided by Decree 132/2022 of March 19 of last year“due to the sustained increase in food prices” that “had a strong impact on the wheat, corn, sunflower and its derivatives from the beginning of war conflict between Russian Federation and Ukraine”

The implementation of subsidized prices seeks to guarantee a reference value for wheat in the internal market, “that allows preserve a stability in the share of the flour bag as a component of the cost of the products that are derived from it”. The increase in reference prices for this month, indicates the resolution in its recitals, seeks “improve the impact of the tool both in the cost structure and in the product to the consumer”.

For this, it is “necessary to increase the supply of flour with compensation in the market and also update their values ​​so that are consistent with the evolution of the rest of the cost components of products derived from wheat flour”.

The financing of the fund is obtained from the proceeds after the removal in March of last year of the differential in the withholdings who paid the industrialized soybean products regarding the beanequating in 33% which pays the latter.
