From green plants to pipeline maps: inventory from Gazprom Austria under the hammer

The Gazprom– Subsidiary in Austria became insolvent in April, now the inventory is going under the hammer. The offer at auction house Aurena ranges from relevant objects such as a pipeline map of Europe or an aerial photo of the Baumgarten natural gas station to green plants, paintings and a wine storage cabinet.

In total there are 240 exhibits for which bids can be placed online until May 24th.

The subsidiary of the Russian energy concern Gazprom, Gazprom Austria GmbH based in Vienna, filed an application for the opening of restructuring proceedings without self-administration in mid-April. The total claims amounted to 27 million euros. Around 40 creditors and five employees were affected. The reason given for the bankruptcy was the cessation of natural gas deliveries by the Russian mother. Gazprom Austria achieved a turnover of 148.70 million euros in 2021.
