A cousin of Loan Danilo Peña, Camila, came out to address the rumors that emerged this week and linked her to an alleged hidden relationship between her and Walter Maciel. Days ago, she had been identified as the possible lover of the former marine, Carlos Pérez.
“It bothers me a lot that they continue to lie. I never had any contact with Maciel, we never even exchanged a word, nothing,” he said.
The 24-year-old also highlighted the impact that these rumours have on her family and said: “They keep on dirtying me. I don’t know who is behind all this, but they are making up anything to hurt many people.”
He also assured that all this is ““It’s a total lie. They can’t come and ask you in person if you had anything to do with it. This hurts me and the whole family a lot.”.
Those statements were made after it became known a few days ago that Camila, a key witness in the investigation into Loan’s disappearance in Corrientes, allegedly had a relationship with Carlos Pérez, one of those arrested.
