Fynn Kliemann: Fans turn away from him after revelations

After Jan Böhmermann’s revelations in “ZDF Magazin Royale”, Fynn Kliemann was criticized. Even his fans seem to be turning their backs on him.

On Instagram and in his videos, Fynn Kliemann usually presents himself as an approachable friend, the “buddy” culture was one of his trademarks. But that could be over after Jan Böhmermann’s spicy revelations.

Fynn Kliemann: Böhmermann reveals mask deal

During investigative research, Böhmermann and his editorial team found out that Kliemann had his corona masks, which were allegedly produced fairly in Europe, at dumping wages in Asia and then even donated damaged masks to refugees instead of disposing of them properly.

A suspected scam that even the most loyal Kliemann fans have to swallow. In the comments under his most recent Instagram video, Kliemann is being confronted with sharp criticism. Many of the fans would like a statement on the mask incident. “Phew. Bitter. I’ve been a fan since the wall-building video. The story with Bangladesh and Vietnam, and above all the quotes about it, are unfortunately devastating,” writes a follower. “I’m curious about the reaction to the mask affair. It’s really bad to pull something like that off,” comments another. It is striking how many of the users emphasize that they have supported Kliemann for many years and that they admired him for his projects.

Fans turn away

Some of the comments show the disillusionment that most of his loyal fans seem to be feeling. Kliemann should be ashamed of being disappointed. What Böhmermann revealed was “devastating”. Others are already prophesying the end of his career for Lower Saxony. And it’s a sentence full of cynicism that seems to hit frustrated fans particularly badly: At the end of his post, Böhmermann revealed a Whatsapp message from Kliemann, which he wrote in April 2020: “Crisis can also be cool,” he said in it. Several users quote Kliemann with this sentence.

Fynn Kliemann has not yet commented on Jan Böhmermann’s contribution published on Thursday evening.
