The series with the working title “Downey’s Dream Cars” is scheduled to be released by the streaming provider Discovery+ at the end of 2022, as the actor’s production company told the industry magazine “Hollywood Reporter” on Tuesday.
The actor will work alongside a team of experts on the series. The production should combine his interest in climate protection with the topic of car restoration. “My goal is to show that it’s possible to preserve the integrity of classic cars while using new technologies and innovations to make them more environmentally friendly,” Downey Jr. said in a statement.
