Post: “Tatort” actor Schuster: I read every fan letter

Not just Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok: Fan mail still reaches “Tatort” actor Alessandro Schuster by letter. And they are all read.

Even in the age of Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok, the 20-year-old “Tatort” actor Alessandro Schuster still receives some fan mail by letter. “I get the main resonance for my work primarily through social networks and forums, where you can read about people’s exchanges about some projects. Nevertheless, every year I get a few handfuls of letters from my agency at different intervals in the hand,” said the film son of the Dresden “Tatort” commissioner Karin Gorniak (Karin Hanczewski) of the dpa.

“Everything is included, from simple autograph requests to longer personal letters or small gifts,” said the Berlin actor. “I think it’s nice that there are both ways of maintaining resonance and I also read through all the letters personally. Unfortunately, however, the processing often takes a little longer because I often shoot outside of my place of residence and the receipt of these postal items is often delayed as a result.”

In the new ARD film “Face of Memory”, Schuster plays a man around 20 who experiences a wild love with a woman in her mid-30s (Verena Altenberger). The TV drama should be broadcast on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. on the first and is also in the ARD media library.
