Virgin opened its doors in the neighborhood of San Telmo at the end of November. In this place, the essence of the Mexican culture expresses himself in a fresh and contemporary way.

His menu offers traditional recipes with modern twists with signature cocktails and mocktails inspired by the works of Frida Kahlo. Its young and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by an avant-garde design, results in an eclectic proposal that combines the traditional and the modern in a harmonious way.

The chef Juan Manuel Malacarne puts the accent on enhancing the most distinctive flavors of Mexicoadapting to the local palate: guacamoles, quesadillas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas and more dishes.

“The usual pizza, richer than ever”, is the motto of Alcahuete in the Palermo neighborhood. This project by gastronomic entrepreneurs Leandro Volpe and Alejo Pérez Zarlenga is based on the traditional pizza porteñaadding up organic products and applying techniques used in best pizza in the world.

The recipe is about a half dough to the mold with a large quantity of mozzarella, as has always been consumed in Buenos Aires; has a 48 hour fermentation cold, like Neapolitan pizzas; are prepared in XL size of 40 cm in diameter like the new york style and some have cheese gratin to the edge that is typical of pizzas from Detroit.

Aldo’s Vinoteca and Wine Bar Las Lomitas is the new opening of aldo graziani, the renowned sommelier and food and wine entrepreneur. The place opened in July 2022 with a proposal dedicated 100% to the sale of wines, but at the end of the year it mutated into a space where you can also share wines by the glass and cheeses (hard, soft and semi-hard pasta), cured meats and artisan sausages.

In this place, more than 500 labels and those pure wines are prioritized, with character and depth created by prominent winemakers of the current scene who seek to express the identity of each terroir. A selection with small, medium and large projects national producers, limited games, exclusive novelties and great Argentine classics. The modern venue shows off hundreds of bottles on display, small tables and puffs inside, high chairs outside to enjoy a relaxed outing to the fresh air. It is also the epicenter of great tastings and exclusive activities.

The new local peruvian wood-fired chicken is called Tori Chipchi and is located in El Abasto. Heading up the proposal is chef Raúl Zorrilla Porta, also owner of the restaurant Kamay Lounge. In this new coordinate, Zorrilla offers the most popular product from his native country: chicken that burns over coals of red quebracho wood and charcoal. The distinctive point is in a secret marinade made with its own mix of 27 spices that ensure a unique and superior flavor.

In it menuthe grilled chicken is offered whole, in ½ and in ¼, accompanied by a generous portion of French fries, a fresh salad with vegetables and four artisanal sauces, one of sautéed yellow chili, another spicy one based on rocoto chili and huacatay , a homemade mayonnaise and a vinaigrette.

The place is spacious and very brightit has community tables, comfortable armchairs and long armchairs, and has a second floor with private spaces for meetings of 10 and up to 35 diners.
