Udo Lindenberg fans should plan a trip to Berlin by October. There you can visit an exhibition of his paintings in the Bundesrat.
The panic rocker Udo Lindenberg (76) opened a vernissage together with SPD politician Peter Tschentscher (57) on Thursday evening in Berlin. In the Federal Council, fans can now view works of his “panic painting” until the end of October 2023. In addition to the First Mayor of Hamburg and current President of the Federal Council, the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Franziska Giffey (44), was among the guests present. Udo Lindenberg explained the political background of his art in a statement: “It must not happen that the world is divided again for a long time and exposed to a cold war.”
According to Lindenberg, the hope for world peace must remain the highest aspiration of all earthlings and must never be given up. According to Tschentscher, Lindenberg’s art embodies “Hanseatic values such as cosmopolitanism, tolerance and freedom”. The exhibition in the Bundesrat can be visited until autumn as part of guided tours with prior registration. A total of five dates are available: March 28th, April 12th, May 19th, June 12th and October 13th. Bookings can be made via the Federal Council’s visitor service.
