“Dancing Stars”: Missy May dances instead of Karina Sarkissova

As reported, Sarkissova had left the show for health reasons. Even before the first decision. Participation is no longer possible “on medical recommendation”. The ORF had announced a replacement after the surprising exit. A day later they found a new dancer in Missy May. The singer, actress and presenter will enter the dance floor together with Dimitar Stefanin from Friday.

“You can’t replace a Sarkissova”

And there is a special feature: “For her premiere, Missy May receives a wild card and thus automatically moves into the next round,” ORF reported on Tuesday. The new candidate is looking forward to the challenge, but does not see herself as a replacement. “EYou can’t replace Karina Sarkissova,” she was quoted as saying in a broadcast. Director Kim Duddy acts as a guest judge in the second episode.

Karina Sarkissova regrets her departure. “But the doctors warned me that I would have to reckon with irreparable damage if I continued to strain it and, in the worst case, I would never be able to dance again,” she told her fans.
