Helene Fischer: After breaking a rib, her tour starts as planned in Hamburg

Because singer Helene Fischer suffered a rib fracture, her tour could not start as planned. Nine concerts had to be postponed. Now the 38-year-old is back.

It was a shock to all fans: Helene Fischer canceled several concerts just one day before her planned tour start on March 21. The singer sustained a rib fracture during rehearsals and had to pause for the time being on medical advice. But now all the followers of the Schlager star can breathe a sigh of relief: Fischer has reported back to Instagram and announced that her tour will start as planned in Hamburg next Tuesday (April 11).

“April brings new energies. See you in a few days because I have’ got the green light from the doctor. The joy is huge !!!”, she writes about a short video that shows her with dancers during rehearsals. “Now nothing really stops me. I’m really looking forward to seeing you, I hope you’ll be there,” says Fischer.

Helene Fischer: Concerts in Bremen and Cologne will be rescheduled

Due to Fischer’s injury, three concerts in Bremen and six in Cologne had to be canceled for the time being. They should be made up for in May or August and September. The singer announced the exact dates shortly after the cancellation, including on her Instagram page. Critical comments from some fans mingled with the joy at the quick replacement dates. They complained that the performances in Cologne would now be made up for during the holidays and vacation time and that they therefore already had other plans.

A total of 71 performances in 14 cities are planned for the tour to Fischer’s current album “Rausch”. The singer will be on stage with artists from the acrobatic troupe “Cirque du Soleil”. The 38-year-old has been preparing for this for months, including training hard in Canada. She wanted to offer her fans “an experience that hasn’t existed before,” promised Fischer in advance. Their last major tour took place in 2017 and 2018. Last year, after her baby break, the singer appeared occasionally on TV shows and gave a huge concert at the Munich exhibition center in the summer.
