They confirm what the rapper Coolio died of

American rapper, producer and actor Coolio, Mainly recognized for his 90’s hit “Gangsta’s Paradise” who was found dead in a Los Angeles home at age 59 last September, died of a “fentanyl overdose”added to other factors, as revealed by his manager to the international press.

According to The Hollywood Reporter site, the forensic report determined that the rapper died from an overdose of fentanyl. In addition, as detailed by Jarel Posey, who was the artist’s manager and current family spokesperson, they found traces of heroin and methamphetamine in the body.

According to Posey, they were informed that Coolio’s asthma problems and his history as a cigarette smoker were additional factors in his death.

Born in Pennsylvania in 1963, Coolio had formally started his musical career in the Californian hip-hop group WC and Maad Circle, but in 1994 he decided to continue as a soloist after the release of his first album “It Takes a Thief”.

Although the debut album peaked at No. 8 on the music charts, with hits like “Fantastic Voyage,” it was the following year with the title track from the movie “Dangerous Minds” that topped the charts and achieved No. global recognition.
