FRENCH CINEMA-MAR DEL PLATA – TELAM Agency
The International Film series dedicated to French filmography at the MAR Museum of Contemporary Art in Mar del Plata will culminate tomorrow with the screening of the documentary “Allons les enfants”, by Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai.
The content you want to access is exclusive to subscribers.
The film is set in the Turgot Institute, a place where modern dance and hip hop are taught open to young people at risk of social exclusion, in exchange for a “small” effort: that they pass the general secondary and high school subjects.
It is about not only becoming a hip hop artist, but breaking the cycle that condemns young people from families without resources to become “social cases.”
The cycle that is ending had the support of the French Institute of Culture and the French Embassy in Argentina, and in May the honored country will change, with films from Germany.
