William and Kate are in the midst of preparations for Charles III’s coronation. – but there is always time for a visit to the “Dog and Duck”.
The British heir to the throne Prince William and Princess Kate have met in a London pub for the upcoming coronation of King Charles III. tuned in. The couple appeared close to the people on Thursday and traveled to London’s Soho nightlife district on the Elizabeth Line, which was only opened by Queen Elizabeth II last year.
There they visited the “Dog and Duck” pub and exchanged ideas with the restaurateurs about the preparations for the coronation. The industry is expecting a weekend with lots of sales, especially as pubs and bars are allowed to stay open longer than usual.
The royals themselves are still in the middle of the preparations, as Kate – now officially Princess of Wales – revealed. “It’s going to be a turbulent time. But we’re getting closer to it. It still feels like we’re trying to get everything under one roof.”
