Five months after his release from prison, Boris Becker showed up with his girlfriend Lilian on the red carpet at the Laureus Sports Awards.
He has probably the worst time of his life behind him: court proceedings, bankruptcy, almost eight months in prison. Now Boris Becker (55) has shown himself publicly in his former, familiar environment:
Becker wore a three-piece black suit with a matching black tie. Girlfriend Lilian (33), who accompanied the ex-tennis hero, caught the eye in a strapless, wine-red robe and large gold earrings.
He congratulated Lionel Messi
The couple posed arm in arm for photographers, both smiling softly. Becker appeared professional and in a good mood during the event. Soccer legend Lionel Messi (35) on the “Laureus Sportsman of the Year” award: “Wonderful night for Messi,” he wrote in his story.
How things will continue for Becker professionally and financially remains to be seen. Apparently he still feels comfortable on the red carpet.
