A few days ago, Robert De Niro (79) confirmed that he had become a father again. The Hollywood star and one of his spokesmen did not want to reveal any details. Now the actor has declared that he has had a daughter. De Niro also revealed his child’s name to Gayle King (68) for her show “CBS Mornings.”
On her May 11 show, the US host revealed that Little Gia’s name is Virginia Chen-De Niro. The girl was born on April 6th and weighed around 3.8 kilograms at birth. According to King, the child’s mother is martial arts teacher Tiffany Chen. There has been speculation that De Niro was dating Chen since 2021 when they were first spotted together in public.
A first picture of Gia Virginia was shown on US television. De Niro and Chen are “over the moon,” King says. As with other US media, the star also confirmed that the child was planned.

Gia Virginia, whose eldest sister is 51 years her senior, is De Niro’s seventh child. The 79-year-old has children Drena (51) and Raphael (46) with his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott (78). He shares twins Aaron and Julian, 27, with former girlfriend Toukie Smith, 70, and ex-wife number two, Grace Hightower, 68, son Elliott, 25, and daughter Helen, 11.
