The Norwegian King Harald V. (86) has been released from the hospital after an infection. The monarch was still on sick leave, the royal family announced on Monday. On Tuesday it will be finally decided whether he can take part in the celebrations for May 17 – the Norwegian national holiday – as planned.
King Harald had come to the Oslo National Hospital a week ago. The Norwegian has gone through a number of illnesses in recent years that have necessitated a stay in hospital. He only spent a few days there in December because of an infection.
