On New Year’s Day, Marvel star Jeremy Renner (52) was run over by his snow plow and was critically injured. Since then, the actor has regularly updated his fans on Instagram with his recovery progress. A few weeks ago he was still dependent on walking aids, but now even light jogging is possible, as the 52-year-old proves in a clip that he shared on his Instagram stories.

A short video from the treadmill shows Renner’s first attempts at jogging, as he explains in the attached comment. The treadmill is currently helping him relieve the pressure of his body weight on his broken tibia. Renner seems to be talking to his coach in the clip. At one point he jokingly declares he is grateful for the titanium in his leg. “For me, pain is progress,” writes the star.

What happened?

Earlier this year, Renner was seriously injured when he was run over by his snow plow. He was trying to get into the vehicle when the snow cat rolled toward his nephew. He got caught under the snow plough. According to a police report, the actor was “completely crushed”. The right side of Renner’s chest had collapsed. On the fact that he had broken more than 30 bones in the life-threatening accident.

In April he returned to the red carpet for the first time, with a stick and a small scooter. At the beginning of May, which shows his progress in walking – initially with a walker, later without any help.
