Victoria Swarovski: “I feel great in my body”

Victoria Swarovski no longer has to work on her bikini figure. “Being in shape is part of my job,” she explains in an interview.

The new “Let’s Dance” winner was found with Anna Ermakova (23) and for Victoria Swarovski (29) a busy time came to an end. The presenter is now looking forward to her well-deserved vacation. “I can’t wait to get back to the sea, jumping in the water and taking long walks on the beach.”

The 29-year-old, who once again wore swimwear for the current Lascana campaign, doesn’t have to worry about her bikini figure. “Being in shape is also part of my job,” explains Swarovski and reveals her best workout tips in an interview.

Dear Victoria, how ready for a holiday are you now after the finale of the current “Let’s Dance” season?

Victoria Swarovski: Absolutely! “Let’s Dance” is a very beautiful, but also very exhausting production. We start in mid-February and the season doesn’t end until the end of May, beginning of June. With preparations, that’s more than 16 weeks, during which I actually only have one week off. And that’s usually full of work that I can’t do during the weekly production schedule. Large shoots, for example for the Lascana autumn/winter collection, for which we flew further away for several days at a time. I’m definitely looking forward to my vacation, albeit with mixed feelings, because it also means that this year’s season is over.

Summer is approaching in big steps. What are you particularly looking forward to now?

Swarovski: I’m looking forward to the sun, relaxing, delicious food and wearing bright colors in my new beach outfits. I’m also looking forward to my milestone birthday, I’ll be 30 years old on August 16, which of course has to be properly celebrated.

For the new Lascana campaign you stood in front of the camera again in swimwear. How many bikinis do you have in the closet?

Swarovski: I honestly don’t know. But there are many. I love variety and like to have the right outfit for every occasion. I’m a Leo, but I love the water, so I can’t have enough bikinis and swimsuits. Vitamin-Sea is the most beautiful thing for me and I can’t wait to finally be back at the sea, jumping in the water and taking long walks on the beach.

Which bikini trends do you particularly like?

Swarovski: Bright colors are all the rage this year. The more colorful the better. But I also love swimsuits with sophisticated cut-outs.

What is your absolute must-have in summer?

Swarovski: When I go to the office, I like to wear pantsuits. Otherwise in summer, if not in a bikini or bathing suit, of course dresses or wide pants made of a light, flowing fabric – sometimes with a pattern or in white or pastel colors. And my sunglasses must not be missing. When it gets cooler in the evening, I love a knitted cardigan.

Many are now starting their mission bikini figure: They seem to be in perfect shape all year round. How do you manage that?

Swarovski: That’s nice of you to say that. I’m definitely one of those people who really have to do something to stay in shape. That’s why I do a lot of sport and pay particular attention to my diet before shootings or productions, without overdoing it. I’m a bon vivant and feel very comfortable in my body. I also do sport more as a compensation. I love working out in the gym, which gives me a really good time to switch off and think.

What do you like best about your body – and is there something you are not happy with at all?

Swarovski: I’m very happy with the way I look. If I could choose, I would like my younger sister Paulina’s legs. She has really long knuckles, but it’s the way it is and I’m happy with it.

What are your best workout tips?

Swarovski: I train a lot with trainers and always copy exercises. I swear by bodyweight workouts, they’re super efficient and you can do them anywhere. I also really enjoy cycling and I love Supertramp, these are exercises with a small trampoline that really make you sweat. Yoga or something like that is not my thing, I need action.

How can we best overcome our weaker self?

Swarovski: I’m a very strong person, of course I have a weaker self like everyone else, but I’ve trained it quite well. Of course I also have days and sometimes weeks when I don’t do that much. But being in shape is also part of my job and, as I said before, sport is more of a balance for me in stressful phases.

Do you also sin from time to time? Which calorie bomb can’t you resist?

Swarovski: Too often! But again, I’m happy the way I am. I like to have a beer, like after every Friday show. I’m also a Tyrolean, I love Kaiserschmarrn and Schnitzel, that’s just part of it and I would never do without it.
