Max Verstappen secured his 39th victory in a Formula 1 race in Monaco. On the other hand, Princess Charlène’s new hairstyle was much more exciting – and won the trophy.
For the spectators of the Monaco Grand Prix, the picture was all too familiar on Whitsunday: As so often in the current Formula 1 season, the Dutchman Max Verstappen dominated the race this time too. The reigning world champion clinched his fourth win in six races in the Principality and seems unstoppable on his way to his third title in a row.
The presentation of the trophy, on the other hand, was much more interesting. This was traditionally presented by the Monegasque royal couple. While Prince Albert was immediately recognizable in a suit and with his distinctive skull, many a spectator had to look twice at the woman at his side: Princess Charlène had come in a sleeveless dark blue robe that was streaked with colorful stripes and reached to the floor.

But what caught the eye most: The 45-year-old had a new hairstyle. The blonde South African wore a short brunette haircut. So she presented Max Verstappen with the winner’s trophy after his triumph. At the coronation of King Charles III. A few weeks ago Charlène from Monaco still had dark blonde hair. In the meantime she has arrived at chestnut brown.

In the evening, the princess dressed up for the gala dinner organized for the motorsport event: Charlène wore an elegant black and white robe that left her left shoulder uncovered. She painted her fingernails and toenails black. An elegant silver bangle adorned her left arm and she wore matching earrings.
Despite all the elegance, the spectators did not miss the fact that in the presence of her husband Prince Albert, the Princess mostly looked pinched and only rarely smiled. Apparently her new look hasn’t changed that either.
