The British heir to the throne Prince William (40) and his wife Princess Kate (41) are guests at the wedding of Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II and his fiancé Radschwa Al Saif. Kensington Palace confirmed this on Thursday at the request of the German Press Agency in London.

Hussein, 28, weds Radschwa, 29, on Thursday at the Zahran Palace in the Jordanian capital Amman. His parents, King Abdullah II (61) and Queen Rania (52), had already said yes there 30 years ago.

The relationship between the British royals and the Jordanian royal family is considered to be close. King Abdullah and Queen Rania also attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III. (74) to London.

Princess Kate in particular is said to have a special relationship with the Hashemite kingdom. She lived in Jordan for a few years as a child.
