After his departure from DSDS, Dieter Bohlen was silent for a long time – now the man from Lower Saxony has announced his comeback on stage for the summer.
The deposed “DSDS” chief juror Dieter Bohlen wants to sing modern talking hits on the big stage again soon. “Yes, my friends, there will soon be something on the ears again,” said the 67-year-old in an Instagram story.
Bohlen wants to appear in August at the Schlager Festival “Favorite Songs” in Bonn. On the festival side, next to Bohlen, Giovanni Zarrella, Marianne Rosenberg, DJ Ötzi, Jürgen Drews and Vanessa Mai are announced – Bohlen is a «Special Guest». “They think there are 50,000 people with many stars who all sing their favorite songs,” said Bohlen on Instagram. Several media previously reported on his video.
In March RTL announced that there would be a completely new jury for the casting show classic “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (“DSDS”). This already applies to the upcoming season, which is currently being shot and will be broadcast in the coming year. This marked the end of the era of juror Dieter Bohlen in “DSDS” after almost 20 years. In addition to TV presenter Silbereisen, producer Toby Gad and singer Ilse DeLange are also on the jury.
Bohlen was also shot by the Cologne private broadcaster on the RTL program “Das Supertalent”. The footballer Lukas Podolski will evaluate the stage performances there in the future. After the announcement by RTL, Lower Saxony had largely withdrawn from the public. In August, Bohlen announced his comeback on Instagram: “The question most asked in recent months is of course: When will we see you on TV again? Of course you can see me on TV again. “
