Taylor Swift in Sydney: Paparazzo makes allegations against her father

After her mega concerts in Sydney, Taylor Swift celebrates on a yacht. The paparazzi don’t take long to arrive. One now claims to have been attacked by Swift’s father.

Australian authorities are investigating allegations made by a paparazzo who says he was beaten by Taylor Swift’s father in Sydney, Australia. Scott Kingsley Swift, 71, immediately denied the allegations about his daughter’s publicist, AAP news agency reported on Tuesday.

The 51-year-old photographer told the Australian Guardian that he photographed Swift on Tuesday night (local time) as the superstar celebrated on a luxury yacht in the harbor after the last of four concerts in the metropolis. When the singer finally left the boat around 2:30 a.m. surrounded by security forces, they pressed umbrellas into his face and against his camera.

Taylor Swift concerts in Germany are sold out

When Swift finally got into a car, a man hit him in the face, the paparazzo claims. “I didn’t know it was her father at first,” he said. He only identified him later based on photos. “It was a bit of a shock, but I’ll leave the job to the police,” the man explained. According to AAP, no one required medical treatment but police are investigating the incident.

Swift has been on the road in Australia with her gigantic “The Eras Tour” since mid-February. After three shows in Melbourne, four concerts in Sydney followed since Friday. A total of 600,000 fans saw the pop icon live.

The US artist has been touring since March 2023. In the summer she will also be coming to Germany for some – already sold out – dates. With her “Eras” tour, Swift attracts millions of fans worldwide and breaks records everywhere.
