Playboy: Holly Madison on life in the Playboy Mansion

Holly Madison was one of Hugh Hefner’s friends in the famous Playboy Mansion. In a podcast she now reports on “traumatizing experiences” from this time.

Holly Madison was one of the most famous Playmates and resident of Hugh Hefner’s infamous Playboy Mansion for many years. Among other things, the reality TV show “Girls of the Playboy Mansion” made the 41-year-old world famous. But the picture drawn there of love, freedom and fun was not the whole truth, as Madison now reports in a podcast.

First sex with Hefner was not voluntary

You met the Playboy founder on a date. Her real plan was to look at life in Hefner’s villa and then decide whether she would like to live there. But already in the first night there was sex, reports Madison – involuntarily.

“I definitely didn’t expect to have sex with him at night,” said the 41-year-old. She was completely drunk and Hefner was “literally pushed on me” by the other women in the villa.

The model describes the night as a “traumatic experience”. She was ashamed of the other women and didn’t want to say no. “I was embarrassed,” continued Madison. She then slept with Hefner and then moved into the villa. Her explanation: “I can’t change it now, so I can just as easily get why I came here.”

Madison wanted to get a luxury life in the spotlight. And she got that too. She lived in the mansion for seven years. But she was not happy with life there. What bothered her most was that she had never been alone during sex with Hefner. The fact that other women were there was “terrible” for them.

Hefner photographed women in suggestive poses

The practices that Madison experienced were not unique. Hefner repeatedly brought young women into the villa, mostly after going to clubs and getting very drunk. The women, who had lived in the mansion for a long time, then made suggestive poses with them – Hefner photographed everything with his disposable camera. “So if you were bare-chested drunk in his bathtub and another girl was doing a sexual pose with you, he’d grab the camera and take pictures,” recalls Madison.

Hefner distributed the recordings in the villa and stuck them in his scrapbook. Today she is grateful that times have changed and that such behavior will no longer be tolerated by society.
