The Küniglberg is heavily dependent on legal innovations, for example when developing a multimedia fleet and online strategy. Its aim is to expand online offers, particularly in the streaming area.
At the streaming portal “ORF-Player” one works “under high pressure”. The “Sport” modules and the “Sound” audio platform are due to go online in the first half of the year. The media authority KommAustria gave the green light for the module “Topos” – the science, education, religion and culture area of the player.
In 2022, the ORF campus, which costs 303 million euros, will also be settled, which means that employees from Ö1 and Ö3 will also work in the ORF center on Küniglberg in the future. Weißmann wants to pay “a lot of attention” to corporate culture.
