A farewell album by Michelle and new works by metal bands dominate the charts. A German band is at the top.
Metal and pop music dominate the top positions in the German album charts this week. The German metal band Kissin’ Dynamite enters the top spot with “Back With A Bang”, according to GfK Entertainment.
Behind them, pop musician Michelle has moved up to second place with “Flutlicht”. The 52-year-old said that the work is her farewell album. In third place is another German metal band, Orden Ogan (“The Order Of Fear”).
Fourth place this week goes to pop musician Billie Eilish with “Hit Me Hard And Soft”, ahead of “Pirates II – Armada” by the Austrian metal band Visions Of Atlantis.
Long-running hits in the singles charts
There are no newcomers in the top 5 of the singles charts. As in the previous week, the top spot is occupied by “Zeit, dass sich was dreht” by $OHO BANI, Herbert Grönemeyer & Ericson. Behind it, unchanged: “Wunder” by Ayliva & Apache 207 in second place and “I Like The Way You Kiss Me” by Artemas in third place.
The US musician Sabrina Carpenter climbs to fourth place with “Espresso”. Following in fifth place is the rapper GReeeN with “Panama”.
