Riccardo Simonetti married his partner Steven on August 29th. Shortly before the wedding, he was still raving about his dream man.
Entertainer Riccardo Simonetti (31) has finally said “yes”! Shortly before the ceremony, Simonetti contacted his fans and confirmed with a post on Instagram that he and his fiancé Steven are getting married today, August 29th. A little later, he published a couple photo in which he declared his love for his partner.
Simonetti, which showed him from behind and apparently in his wedding look as well as preparing for the big celebration. He also addressed moving lines to his followers.
“And today I’m the one getting married”
“So today is the day,” Simonetti wrote in English on August 29. “I’m getting married. Wow. What a surreal feeling. He had always been eternally single: “The one who joked about never finding love. The one who had his first boyfriend at 27. And today I’m the one who’s getting married.”
Simonetti also had some advice for his fans. According to him, they should try to be themselves and find the person who falls in love with the person they really are – and not with the idea of who they should be. “It may be more complicated to find someone this way, but if you’re lucky, the feeling is overwhelmingly beautiful,” explains the entertainer.
In his stories, Simonetti also raved about the blue sky on his wedding day. He continued: “I feel blessed and grateful that I get to marry the man of my dreams today, what a surreal feeling.”
Riccardo Simonetti has found “unconditional love”
Later, the newlywed couple. “Husband & husband,” Simonetti explained. For most of his life, he thought that marriage was not an option for him, but then Steven came into his life. After meeting his partner, he realized “that unconditional love exists and that people like you and I deserve it just as much as anyone else.” It breaks his heart that the couple’s love is still considered a crime in many countries today.
However, Simonetti is lucky to be “marrying the most wonderful man I have ever met in my life”. It is a privilege that Steven, who brings so much joy to his life, chose him. “Now we are husbands and I promise that I will do my best to give you the life you deserve and to put a smile on your beautiful face because I know that is exactly what you do for me by simply sharing your love and kindness with me. I love you so much more than I can express with words and I am so grateful to be on this journey with you forever.”
Apparently, the guests included presenter Sylvie Meis (46) and her colleague Palina Rojinski (39). The latter, at which there was a BBQ, wrote that she wanted to celebrate Simonetti’s love. Meis, who also attended the 31-year-old’s bachelor party, explained in a comment on Simonetti’s first post: “Oh babe, I’m so so happy for you and Steven. Can’t wait to see you later and experience the love ceremony.”
