Terminator declares war on Donald Trump
Even though he is a Republican, Arnold Schwarzenegger will vote for Kamala Harris. On X he explained his reasons.
Arnold Schwarzenegger (77), Terminator and former Republican governor of California, has spoken out in favor of Kamala Harris (60) as the next US President.
On But rejecting the results of an election (as Trump did) is “as un-American as it gets.” And calling the United States the “trash can of the world” (as Trump has done) is “so unpatriotic, it infuriates me.” Schwarzenegger said he would always be an American before he was a Republican. “That’s why I’m voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this week.”
All-round attack on Trump
In a later paragraph, Schwarzenegger delivers a round-the-clock attack on Trump: “But a candidate who doesn’t respect your vote unless it’s for him, a candidate who sends his supporters to storm the Capitol while he’s with a… Diet Coke is watching, a candidate who has been unable to pass anything other than tax cuts that have helped his donors and other rich people like me but no one else, a candidate who has cast Americans who disagree with him as bigger enemies than China, Russia or North Korea – that won’t solve our problems.”
Schwarzenegger is certain that with Trump, America will face “four more years of fruitless bullshit, making us increasingly angry, divided and hateful.”
The Republican concludes by writing, “Go vote this week. Turn the tide and let’s put this crap behind us. And even if you disagree with me, go vote because that’s what Americans do. “
