Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck: Former couple celebrates Christmas together

The marriage of Ben Affleck (52) and Jennifer Lopez (55) was a much-discussed topic in the media and among fans in 2024. The Hollywood star and the singer did not spend Christmas together this year due to their separation. Instead, he is said to have been with his first ex-wife, Jennifer Garner (52), on the holidays.

Affleck and the actress were married between 2005 and 2018 and have three children together: daughters Violet (19) and Seraphina (15) and son Samuel (12). The trio is also said to be the reason the former couple spent Christmas together, now told. “It’s all for the kids,” says the anonymous source. “Jen grew up being surrounded by her family at the holidays and she wants the same for her children.”

After Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024, he and Garner have reportedly been spending more time together in recent months. But apparently on a purely friendly basis – and above all for the sake of our shared offspring. Another source previously told the magazine that Garner “just wants her kids to be happy.” The actress wants to make sure everyone can spend time as a family, Affleck included. “The kids enjoy all spending time together,” the insider said. “Jen is grateful that Ben is okay. They’re friends, but that’s it.”

Affleck and Lopez first met and got together in the early 2000s while filming the film “Love with Risk – Gigli”. In 2004 they separated and called off their engagement. The couple’s romantic comeback was scheduled for 2021 before they married in 2022. Around two years later, Lopez filed for divorce.
