Simone Thomalla and Christine Neubauer on “Let’s Dance”
14 celebrities are on the dance floor for the 18th season of “Let’s Dance”. There are actresses, an Olympic champion and the son of a famous presenter.
The actresses Simone Thomalla, Christine Neubauer and Jeanette Biedermann are among the candidates for the dance show “Let’s Dance” this year. Olympic gymnastics champion Fabian Hambüchen and singer Ben Zucker will also take part in the 18th season, as the TV station RTL announced on Monday evening. Thomalla’s daughter Sophia won the third season of “Let’s Dance” in 2010.
The 14 candidates also include Diego Pooth, the son of presenter Verona Pooth. According to RTL, it is the 21-year-old’s first major TV show. The eight other participants are: podcaster selfiesandra, video producer Paola Maria, reality TV participant Leyla Lahouar, stunt woman Marie Mouroum, TV chef Roland Trettl, entertainer Marc Eggers, Paralympics swimmer Taliso Engel and comedian Osan Yaran.
In 2024, musician Gabriel Kelly won the TV dance competition. The previous winners of the classic show include Boris Becker’s daughter Anna Ermakova, Ingolf Lück, Gil Ofarim, Victoria Swarovski and Maite Kelly.
