After the death of his partner: Clint Eastwood is a “fighter”

Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood (94) announced in a statement in July 2024 that his partner Christina Sandera had died at the age of 61. “Christina was a kind, caring woman and I will miss her very much,” said Eastwood’s statement, which was available to The Hollywood Reporter, among others.

Sandera reportedly died of a heart attack on July 18, according to the New York Post. Clint Eastwood’s son Scott Eastwood (38) has now spoken about his father and his current condition.

The actor, director and producer is doing well, says the 38-year-old, who also works as an actor. Clint Eastwood, who turns 95 on May 31, is “a survivor, a fighter.” Scott also received this resilience from his father. “It’s in our blood. You don’t complain. You don’t whine. You just keep going.” The 94-year-old has already been through “a lot of bad things” in his life, for example experiencing the Great Depression or the Second World War as a young person. “There is no room for complaint.”

Clint Eastwood and Christina Sandera are said to have met in 2014 at his Mission Ranch Hotel in California. At the time she was working as a hostess in the restaurant. Sandera was 50 years old, Eastwood was already in his mid-80s. Despite the age difference of over 30 years, they became a couple.

Eastwood had already tied the knot twice before his relationship with Christina Sandera. From 1953 to 1984 he was married to Maggie Johnson (94). His second marriage to Dina Eastwood (59) lasted from 1996 to 2014. Clint Eastwood has a total of eight children from different relationships, including Scott Eastwood and his sister Kathryn (36).
