Disney+ launched a first advance to the expected second season of the series starring Diego Luna Andor. The advance reveals new images of the dramatic series of Star Wars Emmy nominated.
Next season will conclude the story and lead to the events of the film Rogue One 2016.
The creator the series Tony Gilroy He said in a press release: “One of the great emotions of making Andor is the scale of history and the number of characters that we can know: common people, imperial lords, passionate revolutionaries. They are real people who make epic decisions, and they all face questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and the backbone of our history, but it is the choir that makes the series unique. I am very excited that the public see where we are going in the second season. ”

The official description of the new season: “In the second season, the characters and their relationships will intensify as the war horizon is approaching and Cassian becomes a key player in the rebel alliance. All will be put to the trial and, as bets, betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become deep. ”
The trailer includes the return of Ben Mendelsohn As his character from Rogue One, director Orson Callan Krennic, and the favorite drug of Rogue One, K-2SO fans, whose voice is Alan Tudyk.
The final season will take place over 12 episodes divided into four chapters of three episodes each. The first chapter will premiere on April 22 and the following chapters will be released every week.
Andor’s second season stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevief O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau and Tudyk, with Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker.
