Diekmeier’s daughter has cancer – now the setback: chemotherapy has not struck the teenager.
Dennis Diekmeier (35) wife Dana (40) once again commented on her daughter Delani (14). Already in February, the wife of the former HSV soccer player had made public that her child together fell ill. Now follows a worrying update.
Chemotherapy does not suggest
Diekmeier is now speaking in a story. “Unfortunately, it was seen on Monday that the metastases in the right lungs have grown despite chemo. Even in the left that has just been operated on, it has grown again,” explains Diekmeier’s wife. Chemotherapy is therefore not continued “since it does not strike”.
The metastases in the right lungs are now to be removed surgically. “The doctors discuss how things go afterwards and we are waiting for feedback,” said Dana Diekmeier.
Diekmeier’s daughter was only operated on a few weeks ago
Just a few weeks ago, Dana Diekmeier with her more than 35,000 followers shared that daughter Delani was operated on the left wing. In the procedure, 19 abnormalities could be removed. “You saw seven in the CT, so unfortunately it was much more than expected,” said the 40-year-old.
Despite the current bad news, Dana Diekmeier remains combative. In another story she writes: “Never Give Up” (in German: “Never give up”).
Dana and Dennis Diekmeier have been married since 2010. In addition to the 14-year-old Delani, the couple has three other children: Dion (11), Damina (9) and Divia (7).
