The actress Aubrey Plaza has shown herself on the red carpet for the first time since her husband’s death. The 40-year-old is part of the comedy “Honey Don’t” by Ethan Coen, who celebrated Cannes premiere at the Film Festival.
US director and screenwriter Jeff Baena died in January of this year. Several US media, citing forensic medicine, reported that the actor had committed suicide. Plaza (40, “Parks and Recreation”, “The White Lotus”) and Baena had married in 2021 after a ten -year relationship. At the beginning of January, Plaza spoke of an “unimaginable tragedy” in a statement.
In “Honey Don’t”, the American embodies the lover of the main character, an investigator (Margaret Qualley). The director is part of the famous Coen brothers who, as directors, brought films such as “The Big Lebowski”, “No Country for Old Men” or “True Grit”.
