1. My partner just annoys me
We complain to our friends: “He just wants to sit on the sofa and relax. It drives me crazy!” Or: “She can never make up her mind! I can’t stand being with her any longer.” Or: “He always has new ideas. It drives me crazy!” After a while in a relationship, certain characteristics of our loved ones start to annoy us. And it’s not uncommon for us to interpret our anger about this as a decline in love.
