More and more people are at home in more than one place: they live multi-locally – because of their studies, because of their job, because of love or simply because they want it that way, according to the new association “Stadt.Land.Inn”, the invites you to a kick-off event at the Ried foundry on Saturday, April 9th. From 4 p.m., those interested can experience a varied program in the “House of Sustainability”. Among other things, the online platform “stadtlandinn.at” will be presented, the people behind the network will introduce themselves, and there will be art projects.
The regional management of Upper Austria presents the brochure “Thinking tool for multi-locality”, which contains suggestions and background information on the new lifestyle especially for municipal politicians. The “Trafos”, who run the Rieder foundry, present their house, and a poetry slam by the “Innviertler Wortklauberei” is planned as the grand finale.
“Our goal is to shape the Innviertel-Hausruck region by and for multi-locals and to be a docking point in the Innviertel for people who live this lifestyle,” says project manager Christian Fuchs. “People live in several places for a variety of reasons. This diversity in life plans also means a variety of needs,” says Stefanie Moser, Regional Manager for Sustainability and the Environment in the Innviertel.
City and country are not a contradiction, both sides could strengthen each other. “The StadtLandler demonstrate these strengths with their network.” It is important to use these strengths for the region.
