Nußbach confidently defended his clean record

The reigning state champions of the Union Haidlmair Nußbach continue to lead the women’s fistball Bundesliga undefeated. With five wins in five games and only two lost sets, they are tied at the top of the table in front of runner-up Seekirchen, who has lost three sets this season.

Top game on Thursday

The duel between the two top teams will follow tomorrow, Thursday, at 11 a.m. on the Nußbach fistball field. On Saturday, also from 11 a.m., the latecomer DSG UKJ Froschberg Linz will be guest in the Kremstal.

The Kremstal women dominated against Arnreit from the start, but the Mühlviertler women were able to keep up a little at first. From the second sentence, coach Marco Salzberger’s team stepped up a gear and forced the game on Arnreit. The result was an unchallenged 4:0 (8, 5, 2, 6) away win for the Kremstal team.

Consistently scored

“Today we acted very confidently in all positions. We didn’t miss a beat and scored consistently,” says Salzberger, “so we want to keep collecting points in the next few games and play our game through.”
