Elections in Brazil: Bolsonaro points to the role of the TSE
In his statement to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Bolsonaro requested the presence of the Armed Forces in the “chest room” or bunker where the electronic vote counting of the elections in Brazil will be carried out, with the aim of generating greater transparency.
He assured that “to reduce the chances of fraud to zero”, there only has to be “a printed vote, as in the Paraguayan elections.”
In addition, he questioned whether the TSE has not authorized live broadcasts from the Palacio de Alvoradaofficial residence, and prohibited him from carrying out campaign advertising with images of the acts of September 7, the Bicentennial of Independence.
“I am prohibited from doing lives from my official house, I have to move to someone’s house, that is political persecutionand you can’t use the images from September 7 during election hours, why?”
According to a survey carried out by the Ipec Agency, Lula Da Silva, top leader of the Workers’ Party (PT), has 48% voting intention ahead of the elections in Brazil, while Bolsonaro escorts him with 31% as head of the Liberal Party (PL).
