The Community Nurses pilot project, funded by the EU, is now also starting in Attnang-Puchheim. Sandra Ploberger and Christine Brandner, two qualified nurses, are available to the population with their nursing expertise for a limited period of two years as a point of contact. The target group includes older and very old people and their relatives. The Community Nurses are available for questions about health, care and nursing. They coordinate the optimal care based on the individual life situation.
The aim is to promote health in old age – to enable people to stay in their own homes for longer. But it is also about the support and relief of caring relatives. The free support is offered in the form of home visits, telephone or personal advice and information events. Community Nurses Sandra Ploberger and Christine Brandner can be reached on Tel. 0664/600 72 73 631.
