For the first time, the registration form can be filled out electronically. The link required for this is available on the website www.steyr.gv.at.
Children who are already attending a municipal company are automatically pre-registered and do not need to be re-registered for the coming working year. Accordingly, only children who are to start in a crèche, kindergarten or after-school care center from autumn need a digital registration.
For children born between September 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018, kindergarten is compulsory for the year 2023/24. The crèche, kindergarten and after-school care year 2023/24 begins on September 1, 2023.
