Generational change at the Ohlsdorf volunteer fire brigade: At the annual general meeting on Friday, commander Ernst Pesendorfer resigned from his post after 20 years at the helm. Michael Moran was chosen as his successor. His deputy is David Hutterer. Raphael Schicho was elected as the new treasurer and Stefan Pamminger as the new/old secretary.

Commander Ernst Pesendorfer, his deputy and vice mayor Peter Schernberger and treasurer Manfred Spitzbart ended their many years of service with the Ohlsdorf fire department and were honored and awarded accordingly.

Numerous guests of honour, including Mayor Ines Mirlacher and district commander Stefan Schiendorfer, section commander Thomas Dreiblmeier and many representatives of the neighboring fire brigades, attended the historic general assembly, honored the achievements of the outgoing commander and congratulated his successor.

However, the celebration was interrupted by an incoming alarm. During the meeting, part of the team had to move out due to a chimney fire and returned to the celebration after an hour and a half after a successful mission.
