There has never been a podcast or radio show about amateur football in the Innviertel. From March 8th, that will change. Because the Free Radio Innviertel (FRI) will present the new football show from then on “booth sermon” – Amateur football live with Mario Friedl and Thomas Weber.

Once a month, for 60 minutes, two to four guests (coaches, officials, referees) discuss topics such as youth work, the battle for promotion and relegation in the various leagues, but also tactics. “I think the House of Commons football has a very large audience potential and there are a number of interesting topics and people in this area”says editor and moderator Mario Friedl (40).

“In amateur football, the work is now very professional, but the clubs are often faced with major challenges”adds moderator Thomas Weber (50) and adds: “The audience will also be able to join the discussion live.” In the first episode (which will be broadcast live at 8:15 p.m.) in March, the duo will target the 1st Class South West promotion battle. The guests will be Günter Fischer (coach SV Eberschwang), Roland Brandstätter (sports director SVE), Gabriel Schustereder (Union Gurten 1b) and Lukas Wimmer (sports director Union Gurten 1b).

The first episode on March 8 (8:15 p.m. live on Freies Radio Innviertel) deals with the fight for promotion in the 1st class south-west. www.radio-fri.at
