A 39-year-old from the Sankt Johann im Pongau district was on the B1 in the direction of Linz at around 6:10 p.m. In Hörsching, her car hit a deer that wanted to cross the road. The animal came to rest on the street. The driver parked her car at the next intersection and called the police.
In the meantime, the next collision occurred at the scene of the accident. A 50-year-old driver from the Urfahr area wanted to avoid the carcass lying on the road. Her vehicle collided with the car of a 29-year-old Serb driving to her right.
Another driver ran over the deer and dragged it about 30 meters. However, the stranger continued his journey without stopping. The three vehicles involved in the accident suffered damage of an unknown amount.
