In the cross-border leisure league competition for mixed teams (a team consists of two women and four men), in which 13 teams take part, ATSV Braunau is also represented with one team. In the eight volleyball games played so far, the ATSV has won six and is currently second in the table.

The penultimate round against Pfarrkirchen and Furth was also successful. In the opening game against Furt “Magic” the first set went straight to 17 to Braunau. But then mistakes and uncertainties crept in. After equalizing to 1:1, the game was completely open. Furth played liberated and challenged the ATSV team, but in the end the Innviertler scored the redeeming point in the decisive set for a 2-1 victory. The second game against Pfarrkirchen went better. The Braunauers were well adjusted by coach Josef Weinberger, played with concentration and seemed determined. The ATSV dictated the encounter with safe serves, good assumptions and consistent play structure. Christoph Dorigatti and set player Barbara Weinberger excelled in attack and made an important contribution to winning the set (25:16). Braunau also dominated in the following set and deservedly won by 17 points.

A few days later, the ATSV took on Postmünster. The opponent never had a chance. Braunau was superior in attack, block and serve and clearly won the two sets with 11 and 10 points. With these successes, the Innviertler got a good starting position for a top place in the league cup before the three remaining games.

Squad: Barbara Weinberger, Kathrin Schwinghammer, Carina Riegler, Martina Puchmayr, Roland Tritscher, Wahab Karimi, Christoph Dorigatti, David Schaidinger, Conrad Kiessig, Josef Weinberger.
