The Munich team boosted their self-confidence ahead of Wednesday’s round of 16 second leg in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain. But the top French club also celebrated a great success – 4: 2 against Nantes with goals from superstars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. “We will be prepared,” emphasized Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka, whose team defended a 1-0 lead from the first leg. “I think we’re really eager to put in a top performance,” said Thomas Müller. “Of course, PSG is a completely different caliber than VfB Stuttgart, but the signs are positive.”

Xaver Schlager needs an operation
