The 30-year-old from Salzburg showed one of her best performances ever at the traditional Holmenkollen in Oslo, even if it wasn’t rewarded with a podium finish. Stadlober finished fourth, just 2.9 seconds behind Norwegian winner Ragnhild Haga, who was 2.4 seconds behind in third place.
For Stadlober it was the best result of this season and that after the longest race in the history of the women’s World Cup. Haga finished in 2:13:36.1 hours. She won 0.3 seconds ahead of her compatriot Astrid Slind and 0.5 ahead of Jessie Diggins of the United States.
